If you are called into
a meeting with management, you are entitled to Union representation.
Read the following to them:

If this discussion
could in any way lead to me being disciplined or terminated, or
affect my peronal working conditions, I respectfully request that my
Union representative, officer or steward be present at this
meeting. Without representation present, I choose not to
participate in this discussion.

Your Floating Holiday
must be scheduled 30 days in advance and that you can be made to
work that day, but you must be paid holiday pay if they make you
work? It also must be taken within the calendar year and must be
scheduled by October first. (Art. 30 of the Verizon contract, bottom
of page 53 )

That if a holiday
falls on a Saturday the Company can schedule you off on any day of
the week, but if a holiday falls on a Sunday you must be scheduled
off on Monday. (Art. 30 of the Verizon contract, top of page 54 )

You must call Metlife
on the 8TH calendar day in order for your short term disability
benefits to flow correctly.
