11/30/11 The Election for Officers held on 11/18/11 resulted in a RUN-OFF in the office of Secretary-Treasurer since no candidate received a majority of the total votes cast for that office which is 50% plus 1, as required by the CWA Constitution. Ballots were mailed yesterday to CWA Local 2001 members for the use in voting for the office of Secretary-Treasurer. Ballots must be returned by mail and must be received at the Post Office prior to the deadline of 12/22/11. The Election Committee will pick up the ballots at 9:00 AM on 12/22/11 and bring them to the Local Union office for tabulation. If your ballot is not received at the post office by that time, it will not be counted.
